What to Expect at Mass

Coming to Mass for the first time can feel uncertain if you do not know what to expect. Here is a simple overview.
A Catholic Mass lasts about an hour. It includes scripture readings, a homily from the priest, and the Eucharist. Visitors are welcome to sit, observe, and participate as much or as little as they are comfortable with. You do not need to receive Communion to attend.
Our eight churches range from century-old buildings to more modern worship spaces. All of them are welcoming. If you have questions before you come, we are happy to answer them.

Newcomer Gatherings

Once a month we host a gathering for new members after Mass. It is a chance to meet our clergy, learn about the parish, hear about ministries and programs, and connect with other people who are also new to St. Leo the Great.
When you register as a new parishioner, we will reach out to invite you to the next one.
